Privacy Policy

VendBook is built by Digital Reach LLC ("we"). It is a bookkeeping app for trading card vendors. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it, in plain language.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash by Firebase Authentication).
• Your ledger: the transactions you record: amounts, card names, conditions, and the photos you take of deals. This is your business data; collecting it is the entire point of the app.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active subscription, mirrored from Apple via RevenueCat. We never see your payment details. Apple handles all billing.

How photos are used

• Photos you take are stored with your account so your ledger keeps its records across devices.
• To read sticker prices and identify cards, photos are processed by AI services (Anthropic's Claude) and matched against public card catalogs and marketplace listings. These lookups send the photo and card details, never your identity.
• If you enable the training-data setting in the app, your confirmed scans may be used to improve VendBook's own recognition models. You can turn this off anytime in Settings.

Where data lives

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) in the United States, protected by per-user security rules: only your signed-in account can read your data.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
• We don't show ads or share your data with advertisers.
• We don't collect your location, contacts, or anything else the app doesn't visibly use.

Deleting your data

Open the app → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, ledger, and all photos. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
